    I recently had a kindly woman show me how to can chicken breasts. She also literally made homemade noodles for the chicken noodle soup we were having for lunch in about 5 minutes. I was amazed. Now, with the cannery ingredients you have here, I can make this soup entirely from my pantry in no time. Yeah!

    If you don't like using celery for anything but soup, how about buying fresh, chopping it up and freezing it in sandwich bags? That way you get the benefit of fresh (sort of) without it going bad on you.

    I can't tell you how much I LOVE YOUR BLOG! I am very much into food storage, had to live off of mine for almost 4 months when our fam went through a rough financial time! Your blog was recommended to me by my sister- I am so excited to print and start using all of your recipes! I've never used dehydrated eggs, we make crepes every Sunday morning, excited to say, MY GROCERY BILL just went down again! THANKS AND KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!

    Another great soup to try. And it is going to be a blustery one so yummy for us! I have a ton of dehydrated celery so this will go to good use. I even have my dad using dehydrated veggies for some things. Yeah you for helping me.

    I've never had a creamy chicken noodle soup.


    You can also make a cream soup substitute with cooked white beans.

    I just made this for lunch, and it was delicious. Yum yum. I made it as directed, but with fresh carrots and onions because I had them on hand, and chard from the garden instead of celery. I used rotini noodles because that sounded fun.


    I usually substitute white sauce (recipe available in any basic cookbook) for cream of whatever soup, but since it was my first time doing this recipe I made it as written.

    Wow! I'm so glad so many of you are trying this recipe! To answer Erik's question...for me I'd rather use my freezer space in other ways and since dehydrated vegetables still have the nutrients because it isn't cooked...I just like storing mine on a shelf. But that is a great idea if anyone else, like me, only enjoys celery in soups! :)
